A fundamental part of the islanders´ life, the celebration of the foundation of Isla Mujeres is full of festivities, joy, music, folklore and a lot of creativity. Everybody enthusiastically cooperates to celebrate the day this beautiful place was born as a territory.

The celebration is held on August 17th, on the main square and surrounded by the most incredible and amazing scenery, the Caribbean Sea.
